Mansion Sports – Brazilian young star Endrick has indicated that his immediate future may not necessarily involve a return to Real Madrid.

The teenage striker, who is currently on a short-term loan at Lyon, has not ruled out the possibility of extending his stay with the French club if they manage to secure qualification for the Champions League.

Champions League Qualification Becomes the Priority

Endrick has been a phenomenon since arriving at Lyon in January, rediscovering the form that made him one of the most sought-after talents in world football.

Speaking to Canal+, the Brazilian player expressed a deep emotional connection with the club where he is currently on loan, as well as his desire to see the club return to Europe’s highest stage, while hinting that he is open to extending his stay.

"My chances of staying if OL qualifies for the Champions League? Honestly, I do not know," he said. "We started with a six-month loan, but if I have to return to Real Madrid, I will return happily. If I have to go elsewhere, I will go elsewhere. I truly hope that we can take Lyon to the Champions League, because that is where it belongs."

A Productive Loan Spell in Ligue 1

The move to France has been a crucial step in resetting the career of the 19-year-old, who previously faced limited playing opportunities at the Santiago Bernabeu earlier in the season.
