Mansion Sports – Atletico Madrid saw their season, which had previously promised so much, end in disappointment on Sunday after suffering a heavy 5-1 defeat at the hands of Villarreal.

The result confirmed Los Colchoneros finished in fourth place, which was below their expectations at the beginning of the season.

Simeone Responds to Julian Alvarez’s Future at Atletico Madrid

Simeone was asked whether he believes Julian Alvarez has played his final match in an Atleti shirt.

The question came amid reports stating that the Argentine forward has rejected a new contract offer from the club.

“That is not a question for me, that is a question for Julián. He is mature enough to know what he will do, and I am sure he will make his own decision.”
