Mansion Sports – Kylian Mbappe delivered positive encouragement for Real Madrid after completing a normal training session with the entire first-team squad on Sunday.

The forward had previously followed a special fitness program to address a knee problem that had continued to trouble him and forced him to miss several recent domestic matches.

His presence in the training session at Valdebebas became a strong indication that he is getting closer to returning to action with the first team.

Mbappe Returns to Training with the Team

According to a report from Marca, the French player completed the entire training session alongside his teammates. This situation increases the hope that he can feature in the midweek match against the team coached by Pep Guardiola.

As long as there are no setbacks during the final stage of preparation in Spain, Mbappe is almost certain to join the squad for the trip to Manchester.

Real Madrid are targeting victory in the match in order to secure their progression to the quarter-finals of the competition.

Carreras Approaches Recovery Ahead of the Match at the Etihad

Mbappe is not the only player providing additional options for coach Alvaro Arbeloa. Carreras has also shown significant progress in his recovery process after participating in part of the team’s training session on Sunday.

The coaching staff have shown optimism regarding his chances of becoming available again. The hope is that he will be included in the squad list for the important match at the Etihad Stadium.

The defender is scheduled to take part in the final training session on Monday afternoon in England.

If he can complete that session without experiencing any physical problems, then Arbeloa will have the tactical flexibility that is greatly needed when facing Manchester City, a team known for applying relentless attacking pressure under the direction of Pep Guardiola.

Concerns in the Defensive Line Still Haunt Los Blancos

Although the news from the attacking sector is quite encouraging, the injury crisis in the defensive line remains a serious problem for the Real Madrid coaching staff.
