Mansion Sports – Rafael Leao is increasingly likely to end his Serie A journey after Galatasaray emerged as the leading candidate to secure his signature.

The Portugal international, who struggled to maintain consistency in performance and fitness during a difficult season at San Siro, has reportedly been offered an enormous financial package to join the Turkish giants.

Galatasaray Lead the Race with a Major Contract Offer

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Turkish giants have taken steps to sign Leao by presenting a contract offer that would see the winger earn nearly double his current salary at AC Milan.

Galatasaray have made it clear that they are prepared to pay the Portugal star €10 million per season plus bonuses, a significant increase compared to the €5.5 million per season plus performance-related incentives that he currently receives in Italy.

Although the Turkish Super League may not be the first destination that comes to mind for a player who was named Serie A Player of the Year only four years ago, Galatasaray's ambition is evident.

The club has previously succeeded in bringing high-profile strikers from Italy, including Mauro Icardi and Victor Osimhen, and they are now positioning themselves to make Leao their next marquee signing in an effort to build a squad capable of competing at the highest level of European football.
