Bayern Munich Insist They Will Not Sell Luis Díaz
Mansion Sports – Bayern Munich Chief Executive Officer Jan-Christian Dreesen has responded to recent reports linking Colombian star Luis Díaz with a potential move to Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal.
Dreesen dismissed the speculation surrounding Díaz by telling German newspaper Kicker: "We would be foolish to sell Díaz, wouldn't we?"
He then added: "We have a truly outstanding squad, honestly. Let us start this season and begin it by scoring many goals!"
Al-Hilal Prepare a Major Offer
According to French newspaper L'Equipe, Al-Hilal are preparing to submit an opening offer worth no less than €70 million to convince Bayern Munich's management to open discussions regarding Díaz's potential departure.
The Saudi Arabian football market has once again moved aggressively, shaking up European football and targeting high-profile names.
Al-Hilal have no intention of wasting time during this transfer window. After completing the signing of Crysencio Summerville, Simone Inzaghi's side are now pursuing another major acquisition by bringing in a world-class player.
