Dembélé Set to Extend Contract with PSG

Mansion SportsOusmane Dembélé is set to extend his contract with Paris Saint-Germain until the middle of 2030. L'Equipe reported the news on Monday. The winger's current contract with the Champions League winners still has two seasons remaining.

Dembélé Wants to Make History at PSG

Dembélé has always said that he wants to make history at PSG before considering a lucrative move outside Europe.

Now, after winning two consecutive Champions League titles, he appears ready to commit his future to the French giants.

Saudi Pro League clubs have made various offers for him. However, Dembélé has reached an agreement with PSG's senior management over a new contract until the summer of 2030. The forward is satisfied with the terms and is expected to sign his contract soon.

PSG signed Dembélé from Barcelona in 2023 for a fee of €50 million, with the winger signing a five-year contract in Paris. Earlier in his career, the wide forward played for Stade Rennes and Borussia Dortmund.

Luis Enrique Benches Dembélé

Last week, head coach Luis Enrique left the winger out of the squad. Dembélé remained in the dressing room during the break of the match between Stade Rennes and PSG, which ended 2-2, and was not at all pleased with the decision.

After the World Cup, he shortened his holiday to join Luis Enrique's squad as soon as possible.

However, the Spanish coach felt that Dembélé would benefit from taking things slightly easier for the time being.

On Friday, the France international was again left out of the squad for the away match against Lille OSC, which ended 2-2. The defending champions managed to earn a point in the final minutes after Marquinhos scored in the 95th minute.
