Robert Lewandowski Rejects Lucrative Saudi Pro League Offer

Robert Lewandowski Rejects Lucrative Saudi Pro League Offer

Mansion Sports - Robert Lewandowski has reportedly been a top target for Saudi Pro League clubs during the recent summer transfer window.

However, the veteran striker turned down a staggering offer and reaffirmed his commitment to remain at Barcelona until the end of his contract.

Lewandowski’s Best Season in Spain

At 37 years of age, Lewandowski continues to demonstrate his sharpness in front of goal for Barcelona.

Last season marked one of his finest campaigns in Spain, as he scored 27 goals in La Liga and 42 across all competitions—finishing just behind Kylian Mbappé in the race for the European Golden Shoe.

Since joining the Blaugrana, the Polish striker has netted 101 goals in 147 appearances over three seasons, cementing his reputation as one of Europe’s most consistent forwards.

A Lengthy Contract and a Firm Decision

Lewandowski remains under contract at Camp Nou until June 2026, with an option for an additional year.

After overcoming an injury setback early in the 2024/25 season, he has returned to international duty with Poland this month.

Addressing speculation over his future, Lewandowski dismissed any talk of leaving Barcelona:

“For me, it is not even a question. I will stay here next season. Right now, my mind is only on Barcelona. Our team will be even stronger next year,” he declared.

Massive Offer from Saudi Arabia

International reports revealed that Lewandowski rejected a staggering €100 million per season proposal from Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal and Al Nassr—the latter being Cristiano Ronaldo’s club.

Both teams approached his agent, Pini Zahavi, through investment funds to test the striker’s willingness to move.

Zahavi confirmed the existence of the offer but made it clear that Lewandowski had no intention of leaving Barcelona in the near future. However, he did not rule out reconsidering such an option in 2026, when the striker’s current contract nears its conclusion.

Focus on Barcelona and the Polish National Team

For now, Lewandowski’s priority remains Barcelona. He is determined to help the club secure more silverware in what could be his final season at Camp Nou.

In addition, the Polish captain is focused on leading his national team through the upcoming World Cup qualification campaign.

With unwavering determination, Lewandowski hopes to continue achieving success at both club and international level.
